Privacy Policy

Crew Change is a calendar app that helps people working rotational schedules — seafarers, offshore workers, and others — track when they are working and when they are at home.

This is the privacy policy for the Crew Change Android application. It describes what information the app handles and how. The app is published by Crew Change Studio.

Data the app stores

Crew Change stores the following information locally on your device, using Android's standard local storage:

• Your rotation pattern (number of work days and off days)
• Your current rotation state and the date of your next crew change
• Events you create in the calendar (courses, appointments, notes), including their titles, dates, and any notes you add

This information never leaves your device. It is not sent to any server, not shared with any third party, and not accessible to Crew Change Studio.

Data the app does not collect

Crew Change does not collect, request, or transmit:

• Personal information such as name, email, or phone number
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, or files
• Device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics
• Crash reports or telemetry

Third-party services

Crew Change does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. The app is fully offline once installed.

Permissions

Crew Change uses only the minimum permissions needed to function as a local calendar app. It does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, files, or network.

Children

Crew Change is a productivity tool aimed at adult workers. The app does not knowingly collect any information from children, as the app does not collect any information from anyone.

Deleting your data

Because all data lives on your device, you can remove it entirely by uninstalling the Crew Change app. Uninstalling deletes all stored rotation settings and calendar events.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if a future version of Crew Change adds a feature that requires data handling — the updated policy will be posted at this same URL, with a new effective date below.
